It's a short walk from my home and through the woods to the wonderful Staverton Bridge Nursery and Cafe.
Such a beautiful and tastefully styled place, to buy plants or stop for a drink or light lunch. It's wooden deck overlooking the River Dart is a favourite place of mine.
Following the river heading home,  a little swim to cool down and then a glass of wine in a friends garden.
(And her lovely flower Art collection, above.) Just perfect.
I've travelled this world and there really is nowhere more beautiful than here on a sunny day.!

7 hours later, (I'd only popped of for a little bit.) back home to watch the Vivian Maier documentary.

A favourite walk in South Devon is along the cycle path following the River Dart from Totnes to Sharpham.
See River Dart link below for more photos.
And on a grey Sunday it's fun to add little black animal noses and whiskers, on children and adults too!
Still busy on the new book.
Sabine Timms, mini's here. And Sarah Strachan's dolls for Sale here.

CAMERA DROPPED IN RIVER!

I was planing to share with you some photos of the walk I do most days by and in the River Dart.
It is such a simple pleasure to stand in the river with the little fish nibbling my feet (a new beauty therapy I believe in some spas) and waving with a over-excited grin at the happy holiday makers who chug by in the passing steam train.
It's generally the adults that wave more than the children. I love this passing exchange to strangers who would walk by on the street without a glance. Here's a photo from my son's birthday at the river. Fingers crossed my camera dries out.
