Heaven in Devon

I live on the edge of Dartmoor national park. I am so in Love with the place!
The views, the big skies, the granite tors, the ever changing beauty and the peace.
I try and get up there most days with my lovely dog, Carna.
It is my happy place and reset button.
The coast is not too far a drive too. I am so so grateful for living in such a paradise!

I have not posted on here all summer.
Here's a catch up.
Happy days...busy creating new book ideas, settling into our fantastic new home,
a visit to the Edinburgh fringe festival (No miracles by Nathan Coley.)
and re-sculpturing a disney prince and princesses!...



And being outside as much as possible, playing on Dartmoor and camping by the sea.
I hope you all had a great summer(or indeed winter) too.

New Happy Home

It has been a month since we moved into our new house.
I feel so happy I think someone must have put happy pills in the water!
Such contentment. From day 1 it felt like home.
It was once a Woman's and Children's hospital. Dating from 1850 or so. It has a very special atmosphere and charm.

10 Kids, chicks, chocolate and guns

I had my annual Easter visit for 2 nights from my old school pals and their families.
The egg hunt was freezing at beautiful Churston cove, but we saw a seal and the WW2 museum was open.
The sun came out for our picnic the next day overlooking the river Dart.
I feel very blessed to still see such kind pals.
